I was always into art, even as a young kid. I used to draw cartoons of everything, animals, croutons, whatever. As I got older I really got into calligraphy & type, but I wanted more. I started playing with mixed media, pottery, sculpture anything and everything I tried it. My school unfortunately had zero digital graphics  programs, which is where I saw myself being drawn too. So I was left to draw Beavis & Butthead on Microsoft Paint at home.

When Spiderman came out in 2002, a cartoon I had loved as a small boy, was now fully realized as a live action/cg film, and I was hooked. I realized then I wanted to entertain people the same way that I love to be entertained by film & TV. So I’ve pursued my dream & earned a degree of VFX & Motion Graphics at the Art Institute of Portland. I hope to one day make something that brings as much joy to a fanboy as Spidey did for me.
